Principal Partner

Our Principal Partner is Barrister Nonso U. Amaechi. He succeeded into that office following the demise of our founding Principal Partner, Late Maxwell Emencheta Amaechi of blessed memory.

Nonso Amaechi is a Notary Public. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999 after his legal educational stint in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State. His early legal experience started in the law firm of Dr. T. C. Osanakpo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, in the oil rich State of Rivers State where he was exposed to vast and cognizable experience in civil litigation, particularly in oil and gas, banking and finance, and corporate affairs, until he left Port Harcourt, Rivers State for the commercial mega city of Lagos in 2001. His relocation to Lagos afforded him the singular opportunity to acquire significant exposure and experience in commercial legal practice.

Mr. Amaechi has been involved in several projects cutting across real estate and capital market investments, oil and gas ventures, corporate acquisitions and restructuring, project financing and investments, and have participated in several commercial dispute resolution settlements. He has a flare for pursuing excellence in all his professional commitments.

Nonso is also a member of the Lagos Branch of the Nigeria Bar Association, and the Capital Market Solicitors Association. He has attended numerous professional and leadership conferences, seminars, training, and courses. He has played several leadership roles amongst his colleagues and social associates.

His practice areas are in Corporate Law, Real Estate Law, Immigration Law, Commercial Litigation, Capital Market Investments, Intellectual Property Law, Maritime Law, Oil and Gas Law, Entertainment Law, Arbitration, and provision of Notarial Services. He holds a Master of Laws Degree from the University of Lagos.
