Managing Partner

Our Firm is ably managed by Nkiru J. Amaechi (Mrs.). Called to the Nigerian Bar in January 2001, Mrs. Amaechi acquired her wealth of experience under the Law Firm of George Etomi & Partners which she left in 2008 as its Head of Litigation to join our Firm. She assumed her role as Managing Partner of our Firm in 2009 bringing her vast managerial skills to bear in the human and material advancement of our Firm.

Mrs. Amaechi was a product of the Law Faculty of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, and has attended several local and international professional conferences, seminars and courses in her specialized areas of legal practice. She has written contemporary professional articles published in the dedicated law pages of one of the leading print media in Nigeria, the ThisDay Newspapers. She sat on the Board of Directors of Resort Savings & Loans Plc, a mortgage bank, and Resort Developers Company Limited, a private real estate development company.

As a significant member of the Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mrs. Amaechi has played vital supportive and promotional roles in few Committees of the Branch in which she was co-opted to effectively function. Also, she was instrumental to the progressive advancement and administrative stability of the Capital Market Solicitors Association, in which she served as its Social & Welfare Secretary between 2006 and 2008. She is also a member of the Travels, Tours, Tourism and Hospitality Committee, the Arbitration/ADR Committee, and Aviation Committee of the Section on Business Law, Nigerian Bar Association.

Our Managing Partner previously served in the Executive Committees of the Women's International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA), Nigerian Chapter, as Assistant Publicity Secretary, and the Capital Market Solicitors Association, as Social & Welfare Secretary respectively. And for hobbies, she loves to dance to good music, read wide, cycle, engage in aerobics, and travel wide.

Nkiru practices in the areas of General Civil Litigation, Capital Market Law, Maritime Law, Aviation Law, Travel, Tours, and Tourism Law, Telecommunications, Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution, and have handled high profile legal matters in these areas.

She holds a Master of Laws Degree from the University of Lagos.
